Jökulsárlón - Glacier Lagoon, situated at Breiðamerkursandur, is now one of the most visited and well known tourist destination in Iceland. Massive icebergs float in the lagoon like stunning art work created by nature. The lagoon developed when the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier started receding from the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
